Ingredients
  • 25gm mango blossoms
  • 100gm grated coconut
  • 5gm dry hot red chilies
  • 10gm tamarind
  • 10gm salt
Instructions
  1. Put the chilies in a skillet or in a wok and set on low heat. Stir for a minute and switch off the heat. This little warmup will make the chilies milder and more fragrant.
  2. Put all the ingredients into your food processor and grind for 2 minutes. Pause every 30 seconds to stir. Do not add any water. At the end of 2 minutes, your delicious mango blossom chutney is ready to enjoy.
  3. Serve with idlis, dosas, or any rice dish including gruel, cherupayar kanji, fried rice or biriyani.
